Admission Process

At Dambai Senior High School, we are committed to providing quality education to students from diverse backgrounds. Our admission process is designed to ensure that all eligible students have the opportunity to join our community and benefit from the academic programs we offer.

Eligibility

  1. Junior High School (JHS) Completion:
    Applicants must have completed Junior High School (JHS) and passed the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

  2. Rewriters 
    Applicants must have completed senior High School (SHS) and wishes to rewrite and to better his or her results 

 

Application Process

    1. Purchase an Application Form:
      Prospective students are required to purchase an application form from the school’s administrative office or an approved sales point. The form can also be accessed online via the school’s website if available.

    2. Complete the Application Form:
      Applicants must accurately fill out the application form, providing details such as personal information, academic records, and program choices.

    3. Submission of Required Documents:

      • BECE results slip
      • Birth certificate or National ID (for verification of age)
      • Passport-sized photographs (as specified on the form)
      • Any other supporting documents that may be required for specific programs

    4. Entrance Examination (if applicable):
      Depending on the program and the number of applicants, the school may conduct an entrance examination to assess the suitability of the applicants.

    Selection Process:

    • Applicants are selected based on their BECE results, entrance examination performance (if applicable), and available spots in their preferred academic program.
    • Priority is given to students who meet the school’s minimum academic requirements and demonstrate a commitment to learning.

    Admission Notification:

    Successful applicants will receive an admission letter, which outlines the next steps, including orientation dates, fee structure, and reporting dates.

    School Fees:

    Dambai Senior High School offers a flexible fee payment structure. The school also provides information on scholarships or financial aid opportunities for eligible students who may need financial assistance.

    Orientation and Enrollment:

    All newly admitted students are required to attend an orientation program, where they will be introduced to the school’s policies, academic structure, and extracurricular activities. Upon completion of the orientation, students will officially be enrolled in their chosen academic programs.
